The fall semester at 抖阴视频 officially began Monday, August 26. But first year students in Karla Jensen鈥檚 liberal arts seminar, 鈥淭he Liberal Arts of Yoga,鈥 started their academic year early learning the historical, psychological, economical, and political aspects of yoga.
They started on Sunday, August 18 with a class on basic breathing techniques.
抖阴视频 is responding by launching a new Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree. The degree will be offered through the university鈥檚 Wesleyan Advantage Program, which is geared for working adults.
When 抖阴视频 junior Ross Mumford agreed to be a student co-instructor in Sheryl Rinkol鈥檚 Liberal Arts Seminar, he had a lot of enthusiasm for teaching, but only average knowledge of the course matter: Boarding the Ship of Dreams: Sailing Across 100 Years of Titanic.
This summer, nine students and two faculty headed back to San Miguel Milpas Altas, Guatemala, where they joined the organization Constru Casa in constructing two houses for local families.
