Employment Opportunity for the Position of Adjunct Physics Instructor

Status

¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ is seeking applicants to fill multiple adjunct teaching positions in physics for the Spring 2026 semester. The current openings are for 2nd semester Introductory Physics (Principles of Physics II and General Physics II) and Modern Physics. 

 

There are three available sections of Introductory Physics, all scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 

  • 1st Morning section: 8:00–9:50 a.m.
  • 2nd Morning section: 10:00–11:50 a.m.
  • Afternoon section: 2:00–3:50 p.m.

 

The Modern Physics lecture is planned for 11:00-11:50 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Modern Physics lab is scheduled for Thursdays 1:00-3:50 p.m. It may be possible to shift the Modern Physics course schedule to accommodate the instructor’s schedule.

Qualifications:

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Physics or a related field
  • Familiarity with Canvas course technology or similar LMS software is a plus 

Strong commitment to student-centered instruction
