Employment Opportunity for the Position of Adjunct Faculty Position for Mathematics

Status

¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ is seeking applicants to fill adjunct teaching positions for the Spring 2026 semester:  January 12, 2026 – May 8, 2026.  Positions are available to teach up to three in-person sections of College Algebra on our campus in Lincoln, NE. Each section meets every Tuesday and Thursday. One section is scheduled to meet from 10:20 am – 11:35 am, one from 12:35 pm – 1:50 pm, and one from 2:20 pm – 3:35 pm. 

MATH 1100 College Algebra (3 hours)

A study of functions from algebraic, graphical, numerical and modeling perspectives. The functions are chosen from among linear, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic.

Qualifications
  • At least a master’s degree in mathematics or a related field, OR a master’s degree in a different field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics
  • Teaching experience is preferred
  • Background check and official transcripts needed after job is offered and prior to employment
