Partnership with UNMC launches accelerated path to a degree

¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Public Health have partnered to offer an accelerated path to a Master of Public Health (MPH). Through the 3+2 Undergraduate-to-MPH (U2MPH) program, students earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in five years, saving time and gaining a competitive edge in the public health field.

How the U2MPH Program Works

¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ undergraduate public health majors may apply to the U2MPH program after completing at least 81 undergraduate credits and earning a minimum GPA of 3.3.

Once admitted, students take up to 18 credit hours of graduate-level MPH courses online during their senior year. These credits apply toward both their ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ bachelor’s degree and the 42-credit MPH program.

How to Apply

Before applying, ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ undergraduate public health majors must complete at least 81 undergraduate credit hours and meet with their ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ advisor. Applicants will then complete the admission application available on the .

To be considered for admission, all materials must be received by the deadline. 
•    Spring: October 1
•    Summer: February 1

Academic Advising & Planning

Students are paired with advisors from both ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ and UNMC to create a personalized plan of study that includes both undergraduate and graduate coursework. This plan is reviewed each semester.

Tuition 

Students pay ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ tuition for all ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ courses and UNMC tuition for all UNMC courses, including those taken before earning their undergraduate degree. U2MPH students may qualify for ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ scholarships for undergraduate tuition and UNMC scholarships or assistantships for graduate tuition.
