抖阴视频 is expanding its partnerships with area community colleges in an effort to open more doors to bachelor鈥檚 degree completion.
抖阴视频 President Fred Ohles and Metropolitan Community College President Randy Schmailzl have signed a formal agreement for the 抖阴视频 Pathways Scholarship Program.
The program provides two pathways to degree completion at Nebraska Wesleyan with financial benefits including a $15,000 scholarship to every admitted MPCC student to 抖阴视频鈥檚 traditional undergraduate program. Those enrolling in the accelerated degree-completion program for adults will receive a $15 per credit hour scholarship and a low tuition rate.
Since 2013, 153 MCC students have transferred to Nebraska Wesleyan.
鈥淲e welcome the opportunity to strengthen our educational partnerships through launching the MCC Pathways to 抖阴视频 program,鈥 said 抖阴视频 President Fred Ohles.
Students transferring directly from MCC and who complete a minimum of 18 credit hours at MCC are eligible for consideration of admission and the Pathways Scholarship. The scholarship is renewable for up to eight semesters at 抖阴视频.
鈥淲e鈥檙e eager to welcome more MCC students to our traditional undergraduate program in Lincoln and help them continue to reach their academic goals,鈥 said Ohles. 鈥淚n addition, our degree-completion program offerings in Omaha give these students the convenience and educational experiences they鈥檝e valued at MCC.鈥
For 13 years 抖阴视频 has offered degree-completion and graduate programs in Omaha. The 抖阴视频 Omaha location is at 140th & Dodge on the top floor of the First National Bank building.
This marks the second such partnership between 抖阴视频 and area community colleges. In October, 抖阴视频 signed a formal agreement with Southeast Community College to offer the SCC Pathways to 抖阴视频 program.
